Kanye West promises he will shift Yeezy production to America to help prison reform system

Kanye West has said he plans to shift the production of Yeezy to America so as to employ Americans and also to hire workers through prison reform systems.

The rapper, who recently became a born again Christian,  met with TV presenter Zane Lowe in Wyoming this week to discuss his new album, his conversion, banning premarital sex amongst those who worked on the new album, and also his Yeezy footwear and apparel manufacturing.

The rapper revealed he is moving production of his Yeezy brand to America.

He said: "For me, as a founder, it’s really important to bring these jobs back to America."

Within the next two years, he plans to make Yeezys and "injection molded shoes" in U.S. factories as well as hire workers through prison reform systems. Alongside bolstering the US economy, Kanye said that bringing the brand home will allow "rapid prototyping" and the potential to open up employment opportunities through prison reform systems.
